Of course, in the Baltic Design Shop I already offer many products that are ideal as Christmas gifts. You can find Christmas gift recommendations from my shop HERE (gifts under €30) and HERE (the 10 best Christmas gifts in the shop).
But Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians can do much more than just great home design! And of course I don’t want to hide this from you, because finding suitable Christmas gifts will soon put a lot of pressure on all of us. So here are my favorite Christmas gifts from Baltic designers that are not available in the Baltic Design Shop. If you have any questions about the manufacturers or gift ideas, please send me a message – I know many manufacturers personally and can pass on your requests. And if you are a freelancer and want to make your employees, valuable customers or business partners happy at Christmas, take a look at my new online shop for designer gifts.
Unusual sleeping masks for elegant sleep
Ööloom is an Estonian brand of creative fashion accessories with the aim of beautifying the lives (and sleep) of as many people as possible and guiding them along creative paths. With their sleeping masks in unusual animal shapes, the manufacturers emphasize that sleep is as important as everything else and should be honored accordingly. And they are right! The sleeping masks are made from Estonian sheep felt and come in an attractive gift box. An ideal Christmas gift for anyone who appreciates a good night’s sleep and has an eye for special design! Available via www.design-geschenke.shop (BtoB) or directly from the manufacturer.
Original wooden puzzles for those who love details

A perfect Christmas gift for family members who like to go into detail! Wooden puzzles with different difficulty levels challenge us and require our full attention. Ideal for completely forgetting about the outside world for a while and focusing on just one challenge. And the best thing: the wooden puzzle can be recreated again and again, as the solution is forgotten after assembly
Estonian designer Artur Sadowski designs all puzzles himself and not only aims to train the mind and have fun playing, but also sees puzzles as decorative elements that add style to different rooms. Available at the Design Gift Shop (BtoB) or directly from the manufacturer.
City clock made from recycled vinyl panels
Estonian label Upstairs makes unusual clocks depicting various European cities from old vinyl records. The range includes both wall and table clocks and for German cities Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Leipzig are available. So, if you have family, friends or acquaintances for whom sustainability and love for your hometown are important concepts, then vinyl clocks would definitely be a successful Christmas gift! Available in the shop upstairs.
Christmas gift for bearded men: Vinly comb
A small but special Christmas gift for men with beards: a minimalist beard comb made from recycled vinyl. Simple, easy and practical – just the way most men like it 🙂
Estonian label Upstairs loves vinyl records and uses them to create new and fascinating products. The couple behind Upstairs, Pavel and Maria Sidorenko, are primarily concerned with creating functional helpers in everyday life in a minimalist design language that simultaneously interact with space and users in a playful way. Available in the shop upstairs.
Reflective buttons from March
March Design Studio from Lithuania designs products that should be one thing above all: useful. The studio is constantly looking for niches where something useful is missing or could be improved to offer new solutions and innovative ideas. The first product that March immediately introduced was the reflective Button Oreflector. Intended for people who want to make themselves visible in the dark but appreciate an elegant appearance. Oreflectors are a great little Christmas gift for dear colleagues, acquaintances, neighbors or family and send a clear message: you matter to us! Available via Design Gift Shop (BtoB) or via 4MOON.
Handmade porcelain tree decorations
RutRut is one of my favorite Lithuanian ceramic labels. Ceramicist Ruta Indriunaite creates huge, highly unusual flower vases in clay and porcelain, but she also knows how to work in a more minimalist way. The porcelain tree decoration with golden indentation remains true to its signature style and is once again something very special. A fantastic little Christmas gift for those who love tree decorations, but also for those who have a weakness for small but beautiful decorative elements. Available via the potter’s Facebook shop.
Christmas gifts for children – XL cardboard Lego bricks
Gigibox is a Latvian family company with the aim of dramatically increasing children’s (and adults’) creativity and bringing longer-lasting fun into children’s bedrooms. The foldable cardboard Lego bricks offer endless play possibilities and can also be used in offices. A truly meaningful Christmas gift for children under 10. Available in various German online shops or directly from the manufacturer.
Reflective bag
Even though there are all types of bags in the world, there was still one like this missing! Inspired by the Nordic starry sky, the reflective bag in black and silver is a practical everyday item to carry with you throughout the day. At night the bag turns into a bright fashion accessory that further protects the owner in the dark. Perfect Christmas gift for teenage girls and people who like to go out at night.
